In addition to conferences and scientific meetings, various events are held at UP IAM, either independently or in cooperation with other organisations.

Traditional events and collaborations include:

• Izlet v matematično vesolje (Trips to the Mathematical Universe), which is now in its 13th year and is aimed at popularising mathematics;
• Prekolesarimo svet (Let's Bicycle the World) is an event co-organised on the occasion of World Suicide Prevention Day and World Mental Health Day;
• Čar lesa (Charm of Wood) is an exhibition that visits the UP every year to showcase the achievements of the use of wood.
