Open opportunity: Join the new HB-SAXS Beamline at Elettra 2.0
A new high-brilliance SAXS beamline (HB-SAXS) is under development at Elettra 2.0 in Trieste through an international consortium involving Elettra – Sincrotrone Trieste, Graz University of Technology, University of Maribor and University of Primorska.
The new beamline will deliver high brilliance, micrometer-scale beam sizes and coherence, opening the way to advanced SAXS experiments, from pump–probe studies to XPCS, ptychography and coherent SAXS imaging.
Expressions of interest welcome
Researchers with a PhD and postdoctoral experience in SAXS/SANS or hard X-ray optics and instrumentation are invited to signal their interest in future beamline scientist positions and to become part of an international, dynamic research team from the very early stages.
