Opening of the UP Clinic
On Thursday, 12 October 2023, the opening of the UP Clinic took place in the premises of the Koper Health Centre - after the speeches, the ribbon was cut by the Rector of the UP, Dr. Klavdija Kutnar, and Igor Hrvatin, the Director of the Koper Health Centre, where the clinic was set up.
The University of Primorska's Clinic (UP Clinic) was established on the basis of a letter of intent between UP and Koper Health Centre and provides healthcare for all UP students and employees who do not have GP's in their place of residence, study or work. The partnership between UP and the Health Centre was also supported by the Slovenian Ministry of Health. This support enhances healthcare services for students, particularly for international and out-of-region students, aligning with the ministry's goals. Additionally, it provides extra assistance to university employees.
The UP Clinic is located on the premises of the Koper Health Centre, Dellavallejeva ulica 3, 6000 Koper (3rd floor), and will start operating on Thursday, 19 October 2023, according to the following timetable: every Tuesday and Thursday from 15.00 to 17.00.
